OVERVIEW: The Model YAT is a high-performance Y-strainer with NPT threaded ends, constructed from aluminum bronze for superior corrosion resistance in seawater, brine, and other aggressive services where standard bronze or iron would fail. Aluminum bronze offers a unique combination of strength, abrasion resistance, and resistance to saltwater corrosion, making the YAT ideal for marine, desalination, offshore, and chemical applications. Available in sizes from 1/4″ to 3″, the strainer is rated to 400 psi WOG (¼″–1½″) and 315 psi WOG (2″–3″). The internal 304 stainless steel perforated screen provides a large open area for efficient filtration with minimal pressure drop. The tapped blow-off port enables inline flushing, while the threaded cap allows for fast screen access and servicing. Its heavy-duty cast body and corrosion-resistant design ensure dependable operation in the most demanding fluid systems.
