OVERVIEW: The Model YES is a robust, lead-free brass Y-strainer with NPT screwed ends, designed for high-performance straining in potable water, oil, and air systems. It is NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 compliant, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and institutional plumbing where safety and code compliance are essential. Available in sizes from ¼″ to 2″, the YES is rated to 600 psi WOG and 250 psi steam, allowing for wide service versatility. Its body is cast from C89836 lead-free brass, which offers superior dezincification resistance and long service life in water service lines. The strainer cavity houses a 304 stainless steel perforated screen with a generous open area to minimize pressure drop. A blow-off port is provided for inline purging, and the threaded cap allows quick access for screen maintenance. Its compact, corrosion-resistant design makes the YES an excellent choice where performance and safety are critical.
