OVERVIEW: The Model YET is a premium lead‑free brass Y‑strainer, fully NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 compliant, and specifically designed for potable water and food-contact piping systems. These strainers combine safety and performance with NPT female threaded ends, making them easy to install in residential, commercial, and light-industrial plumbing. Available in ¼″ through 3″ sizes and rated to 125 psi, the YET features a large body cavity with open‑area ratios approximately 2.5× the pipe size to minimize pressure drop across the strainer. The welded 304 stainless steel perforated screen ensures durability under repeated use. A tapped blow‑off port allows easy manual flushing, eliminating the need to remove the straining element for cleaning. Non‑shock working pressures range from 400 psi @ 100 °F (sizes ¼–1½″) to 315 psi @ 100 °F (2″–3″). Its compact, corrosion-resistant brass body offers long service life in municipal and potable applications.
