OVERVIEW: The Model YFF-LINED is a premium FRP Y-strainer with a molded fluoropolymer liner, engineered for extreme chemical resistance in high-purity and highly corrosive applications. The liner—typically PTFE or PFA—provides full barrier protection from aggressive media such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and sodium hypochlorite, while the filament-wound FRP exterior ensures superior structural strength. This combination makes the YFFLINED ideal for semiconductor, chlor-alkali, pulp & paper, and ultra-pure chemical systems.
The unit features 150 lb. ANSI drilled flanged ends, and is available in sizes from 2″ to 12″. The strainer includes a removable PTFE- or PFA-lined screen, accessible via a bolted cover. Flush-out ports can be included for clean-in-place (CIP) or manual blow-down operations. Each YFFLINED unit is hydrotested to 150 psi, and custom built to exacting service requirements.
