OVERVIEW: The SP-CW zinc-plated carbon steel swing check valves is an economical design with low weight and short laying length that saves initial cost, space, and installation time when compared to a full body swing check valve. Head loss is minimized with a short, straight, and unobstructed flow path. And the spring-loaded disc is designed with very low cracking pressure to reduce the amount of energy needed to open the valve.

Flange gaskets are typically not required, due to the built-in, body seal O-rings.  And this valve can be installed between weld neck or slip-on flanges of different standards. The one-piece body design eliminates potential leak paths to the environment so there are no body emissions.

The SP-CW features anti-corrosive, stainless steel trim, with a field replaceable Buna-N soft seat to ensure a bubble tight seal that meets or exceeds API 598 est requirements.

Acceptable for wastewater.
