The Stayflow BIF1C Basket Strainer is a simplex-style strainer that combines solid cast iron construction with a quick-opening clamped cover, allowing faster access to the basket without unbolting hardware. This makes the BIF1C ideal for systems requiring frequent cleaning with limited shutdown time.
It comes standard with a 304 stainless steel basket and is rated to 200psi at 150°F. Available in 2" to 20" sizes, all with ANSI 125/150# flanged ends, the BIF1C accommodates various screen configurations, including 1/32", 1/16", 1/8", and mesh.
For applications where cleaning is less frequent and cost is a priority, a bolted cover version is available—see Model BIF1.
