DBF & DBT BRONZE DUPLEX STRAINERS

OVERVIEW: The Model DBF and Model DBT are an aluminum bronze duplex strainers with flanged (1" - 4")and thread ends (3/4" - 2-1/2") respectively. They are for use in continuous flow applications to avoid shutting down the system for cleaning. Simply moving the handle to the right or left will divert flow to chamber under the handle, which allows for cleaning the basket not in use. Suitable for potable water, and lead & zinc free.

Aluminum bronze is stronger and less likely to corrode than other bronze alloys, making it a preferred choice for sea water and other applications where corrosion is a concern. This duplex is designed with two stainless steel balls that efficiently divert the pipeline flow from one basket chamber to the other. Teflon seats ensure a positve seal and help to prevent seepage into the chamber that is being serviced for cleaning.

There are also no spedcial tools required to access and remove the straining element from the chamber. And the duplex provides cover vents, drain plugs, and foot pads on each chamber.

Non-Shock Working Pressure for the DBF is 195psi at 100F for water, gas, and oil (WOG) liquids. Not for steam service.
