YES SOCKET END BRASS Y STRAINERS

OVERVIEW: The Model YES is a 125# Lead Free, NSF compliant brass Y strainer (wye strainer) that can be used in liquid applications for potable water and food contact is required. 

They have female solder joint sweat ends in accordance with ASME B16.18. They hav a large body and sizable straining element, and provide excellent open area ratios that are typically two and a half times larger than the corresponding pipeline, minimizing pressure drop across the valve. Perforated 304 stainless steel screens are welded along the seam for maximum strength. The tapped NPT blow-off connection can be fitted with a blow down valve which facilitates cleaning of the straining element.

Non-Shock Working Pressure for the YES is 400psi at 100F (1/4" - 1 1/2") and 315psi at 100F (2" - 3") for water, gas, and oil (WOG) liquids.
