Industrial Ball Valves

OVERVIEW:  Ball Valves are a form of quarter-turn valve that uses a pivoting ball to control flow through it. They are durable and reliable, closing securely even after long periods of disuse. These qualities make them an excellent choice for shutoff and control applications.  

The ball valve's ease of operation and versatility lend it to extensive industrial use. Valve bodies are typically carbon steel, stainless steel, or brass, as well as PVC or CPVC. There are a variety of body styles, including easily repairable 3-piece and maintenance free 1-piece designs. Optional features include full bores, fire safe, anti-static, API 608 and other qualifications. See the Seat Selection Table for seat material details.

  • The Fusion Series Ball Valves have Thread Ends and a Seal Welded or 2-Piece, 316SS or CS (WCB) body, and a Full port. Fire Safe. Replaceable seats and seals and Anti-Static ground. API 608 Certified. Built to handle multiple plant applications. >300F, 2000psi (to 2") 1500psi (to 4") WOG. 1/4" to 4".

  • The Omni Series Ball Valves have Thread Ends and a 1-Piece, 316SS or CS (WCB) body, and a Reduced port. Fire Safe and Anti-Static ground. Designed for economical high pressure applications. 2000psi CWP, 175PSI SWP. 1/2" to 2".

  • The Multi-Choice Series Ball Valves have Thread and SW Ends, and 3-Piece, 316SS or CS bodies, and a Full port. Anti-Static ground, Direct Mounting, secondary media containment, Super-Tek seats. The unique 3-Piece design serves as both valve and union. 1500psi (to 2-2/2"), 1250 (to 4") WOG. 1/4" to 4".

  • The Tri-Pro Series Ball Valves have Thread, SW, and Flanged Ends, with 3-Piece, 316SS and CS bodies, with Full or Reduced ports. Fire Safe, Anti-Static ground, Direct Mounting pad, secondary media containment. Able to handle extreme pressure and temperature shocks. Design can handle most applications. 3000psi to 2250psi WOG. 1/4" to 4".

  • The Kingtron Series Ball Valves are designed for petrochemical applications and have an extended socket weld end to facilitate heat dissipation during welding with a 3-Piece, CS body, and a Full port. Use of body O-ring and body joint gasket double secures no leakage. Class 2500, 6000psi. 1/4" to 2".

  • The Titan Series 3-Piece Ball Valves have Flanged, Thread, or SW Ends, with a 3-Piece, SS or CS body, and a Standard port. Fire Safe and Anti-Static Ground, with Direct Mounting for Actuators. API 608 Certified. Engineered for High Pressure Severe Service Applications, including Super Heated Steam and Petrochemical. Class 900/1500.1/2" to 2".

  • The Full-Flo Series Ball Valves have Flanged Ends with a 2-Piece, CS or SS body, and a Full port. Fire Safe, with Anti-Static Ground Device, with Direct Mounting for Actuators. 150 and 300 Classes. V-Ball Control and Metal Seat Options. Ideal Design for Process and Petrochemical Applications. API 608 Certification option. 1/2" to 12".

  • The EZ Series (RF) Ball Valves have Flanged Ends, with a 2-Piece, SS or CS body, and a Reduced port in 150 & 300 Classes. A Short Pattern Option is provided for Tight Spaces. Fire Safe. Simplicity & Performance Construction, an Ideal Choice for Applications that Require Easy to Repair Reduced Port Flanged End Ball Valves. Both a long length and a short length for tighter spaces are both available. V-port Control Options. 3" to 12".

  • The Petro Series Ball Valves have 600# Flanged Ends, and a 2-Piece, CS or SS body, and a Full port. Flanges can be RF or RTJ. Fire Safe and Anti-Static. All Valves 100% Hydrostatically Pressure Tested. 2" to 6".

  • The Control Performance Construction (CP) Series Ball Valves are for applications where Trunnion mounted, CP-V Port ball design allow throttling control with unsurpassed accuracy and performace control. With flange, wafer (to 10") ends, in sizes 1" to 24". Class 150.

  • The Sentinel Series Control Ball Valves have Flange and optional Wafer Ends, and a 1-Piece, CS or SS body. 150, 300, and 600 Classes. The Segmented Ball is a V-notch Design for Throttling Control of Media Containing Fiber and Tiny Solids. Various Metal or Soft Seats. 1"-24". 

  • The TM Series (Trunnion Mounted) Ball Valves are engineered for Heavy Duty Applications for a wide range of specific applications. Stayflow works with Customers to tailor their needs to the specific particulars of the design. Flange or BW Ends in Class 150 thru 2500. 2" to 56".

  • The Econo-Groove Series Ball Valves have a Grooved Ends, with a 3-Piece, 316SS body, and a Full port. Blowout proof stem and improved seat material. 1000psi. 1-1/2" to 6".

  • The High Purity Series Ball Valves for the Pharmaceutical and Bioprocessing Sanitary Industries have Clamp or Tube ends, and a 3-Piece 316SS body, and a True Bore port that matches tube ID dimensions for CIP cleaning. High finish standard of Ra 25-30, with optional finer Ra and Electropolish finish available. The 3-Piece design allows for easy removal so that valve components can be easily cleaned. 1/2" to 4".

  • The Cryo Series Ball Valves are specifically designed for Low Temperature Cryogenic Applications. They have a Flange, Thread, SW, and BW Ends. Fire Safe. Usually involves the handling of liquefied gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, fluorine, helium and methane. Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, 1500psi. 1/4" to 4".

  • The VB-CBV ceramic lined are ready for the toughest process applications. Exceptional corrosion resistance, and the hardness of ceramics compared to stainless steel make this valve well suited for slurries, pneumatic powder transport, and highly corrosive chemicals. 1/2" to 12" diameters.

  • The Blow-Off Drain Ball Valves are mainly used for direct connections to Y Strainer blow-off connections used for cleaning the strainer. They have MNPT X FNPT Thread Ends, and have various body materials and features with four different models. 1/4" to 2".

  • The Multi-Port Series Ball Valves have Thread Ends and a 316SS body. Available in a 3-Way and 4-Way Design, allowing for operation in the Off Position. Direct Mount Actuator Mounting and Locking Handle. 800 WOG Pressure Rating. 1/4" to 2".

  • The Multi-Port Transflo Series Ball Valves have Flange Ends with a 1-Piece Ball/Stem Trunnion Design, and a SS or CS body with a Full port. 150 and 300 Classes. Both T & L Ports and Anti-Static Grounding Device. 3/4" to 12".

  • The Tri-Pro Bottom Flow Series Ball Valves with Thread, SW & BW Ends, with a SS or CS body, and a Full port. Fire Safe. 2000 WOG. The vertical flow diverting valve accepts media through the bottom and directs the product out to either of the two side ports. Often used alternately diverting flow from a single source to two different lines. 1/2" to 2".

  • The Bottom Entry Series Ball Valves with Flange Ends have a 1-Piece, SS or CS body, and a Standard L or T Port. Fire Safe. 150 Class. The vertical flow diverting valve accepts media through the bottom and directs the product out to either of the two side ports. Often used alternately diverting flow from a single source to two different lines. 2" to 6".

  • The Flush Bottom Series Ball Valves with Thread, SW, BW, Flange, Sanitary Clamp, and Tube Ends avaialble on the pipe side. With a Full port. Our Flush Bottom Series minimizes the dead space between the valve ball and the tank. They meet ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII, Tank Flange. Class 150 and 300. 1" to 8".

  • The Kompact Series Ball Valves have Flanged Ends with Tapped Holes to allow installation between 150# Flanges, and a 1-Piece, SS or CS body, and a Full port. Direct Mounting for Actuators. This Compact Design Control Valve offers Various Ball Designs to meet your custom flow requirements. Ideal for applications where Space & Weight are of Major Concern. 3/4"- 6".

  • The Steam Jacketed Series Ball Valves have various types of jacketed valves for handling highly viscous materials or materials that solidify at ambient temperatures. Our steam jackets can be used with steam, hot oil or other heat transfer media, with a variety of jacketing options.

  • The True Union 2000 Industrial Ball Valves are constructed of PVC or CPVC, and are available in Socket, Thread, Flange, and Spigot ends. They are multi-featured to meet the demands of industrial and chemical processing applications, and use a 3-Piece design for easy maintenance. 1/2" - 6". 235psi (1/2" -4"), 150psi (6").

  • The True Union 2000 Industrial 3-Way Ball Valves are constructed of PVC or CPVC, and are available in Socket, Thread, Flange, and Spigot ends. The versatile design provides multiple port and configuration options for controlling flow distribution in industrial and chemical processing applications. 1/2" - 4". 235psi (1/2" -2"), 150psi (2 1/2" - 4").

  • The Electro Actuated Ball Valve provides high quality, basic on-off electrical actuation at an economical price, with voltage options and special "2-wire" control available.
