OVERVIEW: The SF-IGA cast iron, full body swing check valve designed to AWWA C508 is a proven, durable, economical design that offers a flow path that is unobstructed for reduced head loss. It is cost effective in preventing flow reversal which aids in protecting pumps and other equipment. It normally comes equipped with a weight and lever for additional closure control, but is available without it for additional cost savings on low head application.

The Buna-N soft seats and the precision machined sealing surfaces helps to ensure a drop-tight seal that meets AWWA C508. The Buna-N seal is well suited for most water, wastewater, and petroleum applications, with excellent compression set, tear, and abrasion resistance.

Special coatings are available conforming to AWWA C508. Acceptable for wastewater.
